48 Hour Film Project

This past weekend, I participated in the 2nd 48-hour Film Festival put on by the Winnipeg Film Group. Very fun - got to experiment with stop-action animation, which I'd been wanting to do for a while. I describe this as a film-poem. The official title is unwound(ed). Congrats to everyone else who participated!

This had a 70s PBS kids show feel -- and I mean that in a good way!

I liked the beguiling reflections in the letters -- they had me more transfixed than the words themselves!

Yah, I was totally thinking of that:
Be.... Fore ---- Before!

And the "subflections" (actually different images beneath the image, bluescreened out) are definitely meant to be a big part of the piece - I'll be experimenting more to make that aspect more integral.
